CORPORATE CONTROLLER

DESCRIPTION:
At this stage in your career you offer strong leadership to your team and you look for the same from your executive team. As Corporate Controller for this established Canadian junior mining company, you will work closely with Canadian executives and site finance teams. You and your team will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely financial information for external reporting and internal management reporting (accounting operations, budgets, analysis, management reports, external financials (including notes and MD&A), regulatory filing, external audit, internal controls). A big picture thinker, you also get excited about rolling up your sleeves and getting the job done.

REQUIRED:
Professional accounting designation (CA, CMA, CGA or equivalent)
Minimum 5 years post qualification experience, ideally in the resource/mining sector
Strong knowledge around accounting, reporting, and controls for public companies
Experience with accounting operations
Solid IT experience
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proactive and insightful issue identification and problem solving abilities
Highly motivated self-starter
