SENIOR FINANCIAL ANALYST

DESCRIPTION:

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, you will be responsible for providing financial and business models to operational and executive managers. You will assist with the annual budget & planning process, as well as financial modeling for future and current investments. In addition, you will be expected to develop, monitor and analyze KPIs, perform external and internal benchmarking, and assist with the development of both company and target financial objectives. Your ability to see beyond the numbers will enhance the success of existing and contemplated projects, while you grow professionally. A highly collaborative, interpersonal style, along with strong financial knowledge, will make you an invaluable part of both the Finance team and Operational units.

REQUIRED:

Professional accounting designation (CA, CMA, CGA or equivalent) and / or an MBA
Minimum 4 years’ post qualification experience and 2 years’ experience in FP&A
IT savvy with advanced level Excel
Excellent financial modeling skills
Experience with project management considered an asset
Superlative communication and presentation skills
Business acumen evident in insightful issue identification and problem solving skills
Highly organized and able to handle complex issues / change management
Committed and passionate about process excellence
Solid fundamental accounting skills
Ability to see the big picture while managing the details
Self-starter, able to handle multiple tasks in face of changing priorities and conflicting goals
Valuation experience a definite asset
